Training class of Antique Ceramics Restoration Recruiting Now
The Shanghai antique ceramics center is now established and we have few training sessions which open to everyone who is enthusiastic about learning identification and restoration of real antique ceramics. As fresh demands, the spring term training class 2008 is now start recruiting students. From now on, we accept applicants who are passionate of developing their knowledge of identifying counterfeit Chinese antique and technical skills of restoration. We offer quality repairs to all display antique ceramics to create invisible repair. (Also we are recruiting who is specializing in conservation and restoration of antique ceramics.)
Main lecturer: Daoyin Jiang (senior professional antique ceramics technician, councilor of Chinese Antique restoration committee … Researcher of Shanghai museum ) Yong Chen (member of Chinese antique ceramics society, member of Chinese antique, ) Jianwei Fan (member of Chinese antique ceramics society, chief of Shanghai antique ceramics center)
Training courses include: 1, Jing, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasty identification and comparison of counterfeit 2, Antique ceramics restoration environment, facility and restore technique, material 3, Antique ceramics restoration technique and practical training tutorial (antique ceramics) 4, Antique ceramics restoration technique and practical training tutorial (zi sha) 5, Antique ceramics restoration technique and practical training tutorial (tri colored glazed pottery of the Tang Dynasty) 6, Antique ceramics restoration technique and practical training tutorial (qin hua) 7, Antique ceramics restoration technique and practical training tutorial (colored ceramics) 8, tours to visit Shanghai museum or Zhong Fu antique shops or art organization
Trainee: international collection organization, junior museum technician, antique collectors, anyone who is keen on antiques.
Training time: (National Class): Start in September 2008, 6 hours per day, continuing 8 days in total (Shanghai Class): Start at beginning of May, 6 hours per day, Saturday and Sunday only, 4 weeks in total
Training Textbook: internal textbook written by Daoying Jiang, also provide essential tools and materials by restoration studio 2 broken pieces can be consulted of restoration under supervision of tutor Jiang by each trainee free of charge
Training certificate: successfully passed training session will provide certificates and become a member of Shanghai antique ceramics restoration center; as well as recommendation of entering China antique committee.
Tuition fee including training fee, textbook, restoration material fee: 15000 RMB, provide with free lunch, help with finding accommodation.
